We started this book project as a way to digitize our analog personal domino archives, knowing that a great deal of domino toppling history from pre-internet days already has been lost. As we began gathering everything together, we realized it needed to be put into context to make sense, so we decided to tell the stories behind all the pictures. The book that finally emerged is our ‘domino memoir’.

We are proud that Thom Harrington has written the Foreword to our soon to be published book Coming Out of Nowhere. Thom believed in our artistic sport back when the world record stood at only 55,555 dominoes. It is due to Thom’s conviction, as much as any toppler in those early days, that domino toppling grew so quickly into an international phenomenon. And of course, the World Domino Spectacular that Thom produced from 1978 thru 1980 helped raise a great deal of money for the Hemophilia Foundation, both locally and globally.

When they build the Domino Toppling Hall of Fame, Thom Harrington certainly should be included as one of the first inductees.

Below are the first few pages from our soon to be published book Coming Out of Nowhere. It will be a 12″ by 12″ coffee-table book packed with over 500 pictures from our personal archives, along with all the stories from our domino toppling career.
